A STORY BORN OF INNOVATION

Labware was founded in 1995, based on a simple yet ambitious idea: to change the way orders are taken at restaurants.

Back when wireless handheld devices weren't yet a reality, we developed a technology capable of replacing pen and paper with a digital ordering and radio transmission system.

That initial insight marked the beginning of a journey characterized by research, technology, and the ability to anticipate market needs.

Today we work with companies of all sizes, in Italy and on international markets, continuing to do what has guided us from the very beginning: to turn the demands of everyday work into simple, efficient, and reliable technological solutions.

Sustainability is part of our design process

For Labware, innovation also means designing with greater attention to resources and the impact of our activities. We are working on two fronts: reduce consumption and waste within the company and develop solutions that enable our customers to do the same. Our infrastructure uses home automation systems to optimize energy consumption and reduce waste. Digitalization can also contribute to a more responsible use of resources. With the digital receipt, which we've incorporated into our solutions, we reduce thermal paper usage and make the process simpler and more sustainable. It's a small step that, when multiplied by thousands of transactions, can make a real difference.

All our packaging complies with the most important certifications for paper recycling, such as:

Recyclable corrugated cardboard
Resy mark: guarantees that corrugated cardboard packaging meets the requirements for recovery by the Association of Secondary Raw Material and/or Waste Collectors and for recycling by the Association of Paper Mills. The RESY mark indicates that the raw material, paper, and cardboard are 100% recycled and recyclable.
Comieco: the National Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of Cellulose-based Packaging
PAP 20: this is a recycling code according to Commission Decision 97/129/EC, which identifies the material as corrugated cardboard (in boxes used for packaging).
